Add 6 cups of COLD water to a 4-quart sauce pan. Stir in the contents of both packets. Bring to a rolling boil. Cover and simmer gently for 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Pay close attention to ensure that the contents do not scorch.
Thicken if desired by mixing 3 rounded tablespoons of corn starch in an 1/2 of a cup of cold water. Stir to remove lumps. Stir into simmering sauce and continue to stir while returning the sauce to a full boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and enjoy!
Refrigerate or freeze unused product after preparation.
